Overton Industry Hires Charles Tashiro to Focus Sales with Japanese-Related Customers

Mooresville, Indiana (December 7, 2009) – Overton Industries is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Tashiro as Japanese Market Sales Director, assisting Overton Industries to improve upon and/or initiate business with Japanese-related companies.

Overton Industries plans to aggressively pursue sales and marketing activities aimed at Japanese clientele.  The need to develop and maintain existing customer relationships will always exist, especially in a Japanese business culture.  This clientele needs continued support and development as those business and sales opportunities are nurtured by gaining trust, utilizing a strategic network of connections and building upon those relationships.

Charles Tashiro comes to Overton Industries with an extensive background in dealing with Japanese companies both as a direct or indirect supplier, and most importantly, in two distinctly different business cultures and languages.  Experience ranges from concept, specification, design, manufacture, installation and implementation of industrial automation and components as well as the intricacies, processes and procedures with fabricated products for utilization in end-products, such as automobiles.  Coupled with additional experience with TV/radio advertisement and marketing, Tashiro can also make suggestions and contemplate ideas as to marketing strategies specific to a target customer or industry.  "I'm proud to live in Indiana and represent Overton Industries," says Tashiro.  "Indiana has been my home for almost 25 years and I would like nothing more than to see a Hoosier company compete and be successful in this global economy."

For over 40 years, the companies of Overton Industries have been leaders in tool and die production, injection molding, tooling, and carbide tooling.  Overton Industries combines cutting-edge technologies and a highly-skilled work force to deliver unmatched quality at a competitive price.  Overton's commitment to precision, quality, and service comes from the small-town value of its employees.  The companies of Overton demand a relentless pursuit of perfection that exceeds the stringent demands of Fortune 500 companies and small businesses alike.  When customers choose Overton Industries, customers will partner with the expertise to provide the latest technologies and decades of experience that can be relied upon on to ensure a customer’s experience is second to none.
